Privacy
Analytics and visitor privacy.
This academic site is designed to work without advertising, tracking pixels, or account creation.
Current configuration
Analytics remain disabled unless a site administrator adds a Cloudflare Web Analytics token or a Google Analytics measurement ID in assets/js/analytics-config.js.
What analytics can show
When enabled, analytics may report aggregate page views, referral sources, approximate geography, device categories, and interactions such as publication downloads. Ordinary analytics do not reliably identify a visitor by real-world name.
Local preferences
The light/dark theme preference may be stored locally in your browser. The automatic Buffalo clock is calculated in the browser using the America/New_York time zone.
